Pastor Tina’s Courage Corner

Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Courage is not having the strength to go on; it’s going on when you don’t have the strength.” I have made a decision to get in better health, and that includes working out at the gym, going to water aerobics, changing my eating habits, drinking plenty of water, and cutting out the deceitful foods that got me into this predicament in the first place. Many times I feel like giving up because I like those foods that aren’t good for me. Believe it or not, it scares me sometimes just to even think that I’m going to end up losing the ground I’ve made so far. It’s slow but steady weight loss for me. However, I do embrace the Word in Joshua 1:7 to “be strong and very courageous….” So let me say to you: trust in the Lord with all your heart. He’s right there to help you do whatever it is you know you need to do. Until next time… stay focused and be encouraged!
